I am a licensed psychoanalyst with extensive experience working with individuals, couples, groups and families. I believe that each person's therapy is a unique process and is best implemented through an individualized approach. My goal is to establish an accepting and comfortable space for you to talk about and explore your concerns. To this extent, I work towards understanding the complexities of who you are as a person and the issues that you are struggling with.

In addition to my analytic training, I've also received extensive training in addiction treatment, couples counseling and sex therapy. I work comfortably with a wide range of treatment models.

I treat a variety of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship problems, sex and sexuality issues, parenting issues, family of origin conflicts, traumatic experiences and more. In addition to individual psychotherapy, I provide addiction treatment, couples counseling, sex therapy and coaching services.

I provide coaching services to individuals and couples. Coaching can address overall health, wellness, relationship, sexuality, career and life goals. Addiction and recovery coaching is also available. Read more about the coaching I offer at maxwald.net
